Our
mission is to
partner with parents to provide a Christ-centered spiritual and
academic
foundation. We purpose to offer a warm,
accepting, Christian atmosphere in which your whole child can
grow-spiritually,
emotionally, socially, creatively, intellectually, and physically as we
focus
on “Learning in God’s World”. Our goal
is to provide support for families from our own congregation and the
Skiatook
community. An attitude of Christian love
and concern will permeate all we say and do, so that Christian
education is not
separated from daily life, but becomes an integrated part of it.
Emphasis
is placed
on meeting the needs of the individual child. Each child is encouraged
to experience success at his or her level of
maturity. Opportunities to
develop
positive feelings of self-worth are available everyday.
Our
classrooms are
friendly, comfortable, and challenging. Teaching methods and techniques
used are based on a proper understanding
of child development. From this
understanding; age-appropriate experiences and activities are planned.
Our teachers have a good understanding of
child development, enjoy young children, treat them with respect, and
speak to
them in a positive manner.
You
are welcome to
visit at any time and we are interested in your observations, comments,
and
suggestions. We are a team working
together, parents and teachers, to provide an excellent early childhood
